Artist Spotlight is back and rearing to go with a band from straight across the pond in Sheffield, United Kingdom that goes by the name of The Ratells! The band consists of Ashley Holland on vocals and bass, Daniel Clare on guitar and vocals, Samuel Humphries on guitar and vocals, and Ben Stubbs on drums. The band's sound is a low key yet explosive blend of indie rock similar to the likes of Band of Horses and Interpol with a harmonic blast of vocals sung in unison that will eventually be joined by those in the audience who can't help but to join them in the group sing along. What I loved about these supremely handsome and talented lads was their ability to make the audience a part of the act as I've seen in some YouTube clips of their shows, and you can clearly tell how awesome and special their music really is, and how the mates are having the time of their lives and just plain love being in a band together and playing for a packed house. An amazing British band that should definitely be embraced by American listeners. Some songs for you to check out from them include "Behind The Fire" and "Fade".
