The lineup for this year's Boston Calling festival was announced last night at a promotional event for Tasty Burger. Clues were handed out via Twitter about the acts performing at this year's event, and fans had to go on a scavenger hunt with those clues provided where the artist's name was displayed on the vinyl records strewn about at locations all over the city.
This year's lineup includes a spectatcular crop of artists including: Beck, The Pixies, My Morning Jacket, Tame Impala, Marina and The Diamonds, Tenacious D, St. Vincent, TV on The Radio, Vance Joy, Gerard Way, The Ballroom Thieves, and so much more. I had the opportunity to attend one of the first Boston Calling festivals a couple of years ago, and it was boatloads of fun and I really liked at how there were no gaps in between sets so that fans wouldn't miss out on any of the action taking place on stage.
