Cape Cod Based Highly Suspect Drop New Tune w/ "My Name Is Human"

Cape Cod based prog-rock blues trio Highly Suspect have dropped the first musical hint off their upcoming LP The Boy Who Cried Wolf titled "My Name Is Human". The track is a jarring whopper off the block with raw, potent guitar licks and a strong musical progression that just builds as the song coasts along. The trio with brothers Rich and Ryan Meyer along with Johnny Stevens on guitar combine all their unique talents into a sound that is difficult to describe and is equal parts chaotic and brilliant with its vocals creating a musically deep and rich sound that goes beyond the musical spectrum and into a world where raw human emotion reigns supreme. These guys have been a fav of mine for a few years now, and were first featured here as an Artist Spotlight back in 2013 where I commented that great things were on the horizon for them. Coupled that with a Grammy nomination for their song "Lydia", and a host of performances around the country near and far, the band haven't forgotten their New England roots one bit, and are more than happy to oblige fans with their undying love and gratitude.

To check out "My Name Is Human" for yourself, you can stream it on YouTube right over here, and for more on Highly Suspect please 'Like' them on Facebook at this locale here and mosey on over to their official homepage here for more info regarding the band, including shows possibly coming to the Boston area sometime soon.
