Quincy based punk rock trio Bundles are gearing up for a big local rock show to kick off the new year, happening at O'Brien's this Sun. Jan. 8 at O'Brien's along with East Bridgewater's own Blame Shifters. It's an album release show for them, and both of these acts have a hard edged mentality to them that really gravitates immensely towards the punk/hardcore scene that is starting to become more prevalent in the South Shore these days. Bundles have been featured on the site a couple of times before, and their sound is raw, no holds barred punk rock that really speaks to you the moment it comes out of your speakers and doesn't let up until the very end. I'm not that much into punk rock per se, but I completely respect the band's musical mission and what they're trying to convey to the audience at hand gathered to watch to see what they have up their sleeve. An entertaining night of live, local music that you'll be sure to mark on your calendar.
