From our neighbors to the North in Toronto, Canada comes the indie inflicted sounds of Sam Cash & the Romantic Dogs, who are hot on the heels of the release of their brand new album "Tongue In Cheek Vows". The effort is a testament of these four hard working Canadians, who are starting to come into their own as musicians and finally realize that moment of emotional self-worth that is evident when you take a listen to their music for the first time. One thing that struck me about these guys as I was listening to them, was their ability to stay interconnected with each other throughout the power of the song, something that most other bands try to harness the power of, but aren't quite able to capture it for whatever reason. These guys make it look darn easy as they have a defined style and know what's coming around the bend musically for them to do something with. It's this musical and inter spatial awareness that makes Sam Cash & The Romantic Dogs such a treasure to listen to, and a band that you should be made keenly aware of right now.
