Locally based singer-songwriter Griffin Robillard is gearing up for a big local show happening this coming Wed. Nov. 1 at Mid East Upstairs in support of his latest release, "Cracks In The Ceiling". Griffin has a strong, vibrant approach to his music that really resonates strongly with his listeners, and is beginning to develop quite an impression on many fans from outside the region as well. On his latest release which Huffington Post describes as "blends indie rock and folk elements into elegant melodies featuring compelling lyrics, begulling rhythms, and engrossing harmonics", Griffin has really found his calling and purpose to bring some clarity and perspective into people's lives. When I did a write-up on him a few months ago, I really gravitated strongly towards his musical resolve that shows no signs of slowing anytime soon. An immense talent that has a much stronger dynamic live in concert than on record.
