This year was an incredibly diverse year for music, with former boyband heartthrobs, British pop-punkers, bluegrass pioneers, and upstart indie acts ruling the roost in terms of the wealth of diversity present on my favorite songs of the year. What these tracks all had in common was an emphasis being made on songwriting, and just an overall enjoyable feel on the song in particular in regards with how it made the listener feel, and applying the raw emotion of the song to pertinent events and moments in the listener's life. Here are my picks for the top songs of 2017 in no particular order:
Harry Styles - Sign of The Times
Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still
The Avett Brothers - Ain't No Man

three/\sides - IIPA
