From Nottingham, United Kingdom comes the eclectic and sexy sounds of The Mocking Jays, who have just released their brand new single called "Edge of Your Knife". The group have an indie funk hybrid coupled with a pop sensibility that will make them jump right off the first musical page and note. The group consists of Jacob Smith on lead vocals, Sam Dorrington on drums and vocals, Alex Hather on bass and vocals, Lewis Hammond on lead guitar and vocals, and George Ramplin on rhythm guitar and vocals. The group has a definitive swagger to them that will make you lust for them right from the start, and their melodies definitely have a subtle groove to them that will make you thrust your hips and dance along to the beat. I fell hard for these lads right from the start, and they definitely have that sex appeal and musical diversity that makes them a hot attraction over in the U.K., and is going to start burning a fire towards the U.S. right now as we speak. A barnburner of a track that will heat up your summer even more.
