Boston's own Lick Neon are gearing up for a big show next Monday, 12/10 when they grace the stage at The Mid East Upstairs in Cambridge alongside Dylan Rockoff, Emilia Ali, and @plainfacedgirl. Lick Neon are an incredible outfit who have a great sense of style, talent, and ability to go against the grain of what is expected of them with brilliant aplomb, and most evidently displayed on their most recent single "Slip", and on their brand new track released this past Friday "She Thinks I Don't Care". I had the pleasure of interviewing Lick Neon and having them on my podcast a couple of months ago, and they couldn't be more gracious of having me hang at their pad right near Symphony, and relax on the porch where the warm vibes and cool demeanor of the gents showed off in real time, and hearing Nick's backstory and evident love for The Police really shows the beautiful, caring, and jovial soul that he is, and one whose same traits rub off on the rest of the band as well. An immensely talented act that you better arrive early for.
