Boston based singer-songwriter Ella Faye is gearing up for a big local show happening on Thur. Nov. 14 at The Lilypad in Cambridge alongside a pelthora of artists including Zwonaka, Ayel, and Marianthi Olympia. Ella's music may not be on your radar just yet, but it will be in due time as she has a phenomenal presence and a bare bones, singer-songwriter approach with her lovely vocals working wonders immediately upon first note. This show brings together 3 of her classmates and musicians from Berklee College of Music who hail from 5 different continents to bring together a musical buffet of sorts that seeks to enrich and give you a music perspective like no other. Johannesburg, South Africa based Zwonaka brings the charge with his distinct sound, along with French based singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer Ayel, and also including musical outfit Marianthi Olympia. All of these artists have different, distinct sounds that provide a little slice of life and seeks to bring some musical comfort food of sorts to enable you to get a better understanding of the different musical backgrounds these artists come from. Along with Ella's sound, this shapes up to be a very promising and worthwhile night of music that will excite the senses.
