Holbrook, MA's Own Brian DeStoop and The Old Haunts Want You To "Call on Me" On New Single

Holbrook, MA based musical outfit Brian DeStoop and The Old Haunts have unveiled their brand new single to their followers earlier this week titled "Call on Me". The song has a high building energy that just escalates immediately from the first note, and has this incredible dexterity that will have you turning up the volume and jamming along to the tune all the way throuhgout. I've seen Brian play in concert before, most notably with my good friend Henry Merit and he has some similar characteristics that bode in well with his musical makeup and DNA. There are some elements of Pete Yorn mixed in with Brian's sound that allows the band to easily interchange on the vibe and mood that the song is striving for. I found the song to be an entertaining and enjoyable listen, and kind of harkens back to a late 90's alternative mixed in with early 00's singer-songwriter sensibility that will make you a believer right away. A terrific song that will grab ahold of you right away.
