Lowell Natives Western Education Continue Upward Trajectory on New Single "Madeline In The Hurricane"

Lowell, MA alt-rock outfit Western Education are back with another surefire banger out today called "Madeline In The Hurricane". The song has a more eerie, darker musical complex than some of their other tracks, placing less of an emphasis on the synth this time around and instead highlighting a more intricate storyline embedded within that is equal parts enthralling and shows remarkable musical maturity from the group as well. These guys are no stranger to the site having been featured multiple times and have been interviewed both on the site and for my podcast most recently back in September. What frontman Greg Alexandropoulos and the rest of the band have done is have a clear, creative vision when it comes to not only how they want their songs to sound, but for the lyrical content to match and the storyline that adds a degree of complexity to the mix that makes the band stand out that much more to the naked musical eye. I've always appreciated the guys for taking creative risks, and this one appears to be paying early dividends as it shows a different side of the band that we've haven't had the opportunity to see up until now. A terrific track that is worthy of taking out for a test spin.
