Somerville, MA's Own Watson Park Hit A Dinger On New Album "Laurel"

Somerville, MA based baroque pop outfit Watson Park have landed in your hearts with their brand new album that came out last week titled "Laurel". The effort is a serene and comforting collection of tunes from an extremely talented group who have this beautiful aura about them that comes through prominently throughout their music, and makes you want to hold the guys that much closer to your heart. The group consists of Evan Joseph Ringle on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Troy Hartmann on vocals and lead guitar, Ryan Sinclair on percussion, and Christian Raabe on bass. There is a cross influence of Arcade Fire, Elliott Smith, and Pete Yorn with beautiful songwriting, a strong emphasis being put on instrumentation the moment you begin listening to them, and a strong musical kinship from all parties involved to create a truly special sonic arrangement. I was mesmerized the moment I first heard these guys, and they have beautiful personalities that are going to have an immediate impact whenever you first see them live in concert or on record, they are that musically potent.

You can check out "Laurel" now up on all major streaming platforms, plus it's on Bandcamp right over here. For more on Watson Park, give them a 'Like' on Facebook at this locale here, and get their pics, vids, and show updates on Instagram conveniently at this spot here.
